Meet Our Officers

Our PTO is made up of hard-working parents & teachers who pool their talents to provide practical support for our school. We would love for you to get to know our officers!

 

Alison Sturgeon, president

 

Alison and her husband, Mark, have two children. Logan (12) is in middle school, and Harper (9) is in 4th grade. They also have two dogs, Dave and Claire, and a turtle, Speedy. Alison and her family love spending time outside playing in the pool, running, and going for bike rides! Alison has lived in Perry Hall her whole life, and she attended Gunpowder Elementary as a child. She loves doing whatever she can to support the kids and the school. Alison works as a Policy Analyst for the Social Security Administration.

 

 

 


jessica massey, vice president

 

Jessica and her husband, Brian, have one daughter, Samantha, who is in 4th grade. They also have two cats, Pepper and Cinnamon. Jessica grew up in Pennsylvania, but moved back to Maryland after attending Loyola College (now Loyola University). Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, Jessica was a marketing project manager, most recently at T. Rowe Price. Jessica and her family love playing games, taking hikes, going to the pool and traveling. 

 


linda brooks, treasurer

Linda Brooks

 

Linda is retired from a 35-year career in Finance, Accounting & Taxes. Since retiring, Linda's life is filled with her two grandchildren, Logan and Harper, travel and volunteer work. She is very excited to continue working with the PTO Board as Treasurer this school year!

 

 

 

 

 

 


Heather Mager, corresponding secretary

 

Heather and her husband, Kevin, have one daughter, Leona, in 5th grade, and two dogs, Brownie and Pluto. Heather has lived in Perry Hall her entire life and is a proud graduate of Perry Hall High School. She attended Towson University for Music Education. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, Heather worked as an Executive Assistant and AVP of Administration and Communications at a privately held mortgage company. Currently she works at Leona’s old preschool as the Toddler Playgroup teacher, volunteers at Baltimore County Animal Services, co-leads Leona’s Girl Scout troop and coaches Leona’s basketball team! 

 

 


Kelly Klastava, Recording Secretary

 

Kelly and her husband, Nick, have two girls, Chloe and Amelia, who are in 3rd and 1st grade. They also have a dog named Georgie and two cats, Roxy and Max. Kelly was born in Massachusetts, then moved to New Jersey at age 12 and lived there until she was 27 when her husband was relocated to Maryland through the Department of Defense. Kelly has her clinical license in social work and has her own private practice, along with working at NOCD with those suffering from OCD. In her free time, Kelly likes going to the pool with her girls, cheering them on at their sports events, and reading fiction books.
